At the end of this unit the students will be able to:

1.  Identify the relationships of angles formed by two parallel lines and a transversal. 

2.  Identify the relationships of vertical, adjacent, complementary, and supplementary angles. 

3.  Identify congruent triangles and corresponding parts of congruent triangles. 

4.  Draw translations, rotations, and reflections on a coordinate plane. 

5.  Find the missing angle measures of a quadrilateral. 

6.  Classify quadrilateral.

7.  Classify polygons.

8.  Determine the sum of the measures of the interior and exterior angles of polygons.   

9.  Find area of parallelograms. 

10.  Find the areas of triangles and trapedzoids. 

11.  Find circumference of circles. 

12.  Find area of circles.

1.  Using the Line and Angle Relationship worksheet  to show students can identify the relationships of angles formed by two parallel lines and a transversal and identify the relationships of vertical, adjacent, complementary, and supplementary angles. 

2.  Using the Congruent Triangles worksheet  to show students can identify congruent triangles and corresponding parts of congruent triangles. 

3.  Using the Transformations on the Coordinate Plane worksheet  to show students can draw translations, rotations, and reflections on a coordinate plane. 

4.  Using the Quadrilaterals worksheet  to show that students can find the missing angle measures of a quadrilateral and classify quadrilateral.

5.  Using the Polygons worksheet  to show students can classify polygons and determine the sum of the measures of the interior and exterior angles of polygons.   

6.  Using the Area: Parallelograms, Triangles, and Trapeziods worksheet  to show students can
find area of parallelograms and find the areas of triangles and trapedzoids.
